Annual statement of account
The Annual Statement of Account (previously known as the annual report) provides an overview of the activities of your organisation over the previous financial period along with details of the money received and spent.
The Annual Statement of Accounts along with the Annual General Meeting informs your community, stakeholders and members of your group about the activities and financial status of the group.
What is included within the Annual Statement of Account will depend on which type of organisation you are and what gross income you had in that financial year.
Here’s some tips to consider when preparing your annual statement of account.
- Registered Charities need to submit their annual report and online monitoring form to the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland every year.
- For those Charities that are also registered companies, the annual statement of account must be submitted to Companies’ House every year and should include the audited accounts as well.
